It’s back! RPS 205’s Chicken Sandwich Contest returns! Create the most creative chicken sandwich for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch OLED & have your sandwich featured on the menu this spring! Turn in entries to your kitchen staff Oct. 14–17. Winners will be announced Nov. 17!
Trunk or Treat Night
Join us for our Trunk or Treat Night on October 29th from 5:00–6:30 PM! Families are invited to decorate their car trunks and pass out candy to our students and community. We ask that each participating family bring enough candy for at least 500 kids. Get creative with your decorations, dress up, and help make this a fun and festive evening for everyone!
If you plan on decorating your trunk and passing out candy, please fill out the Google Form attached to let us know you’ll be participating.

Flinn Middle School hosts the annual Youth Story Ledger on Thurs, Oct. 9, 4:30–6 PM! Students from Flinn, Marshall, West, Jefferson & Auburn will share powerful stories in a celebration of identity, diversity & storytelling. All are welcome to hear our next gen of storytellers!

Rockford University students spent the morning with Flinn Middle School students as part of its Jane Addams Day of Service. Faculty, staff, and students volunteered their time painting a mural, drawing with chalk, and breaking the ice with the middle schoolers.

Last night’s Blue & White Night at Whitehead Elementary was full of fun and community spirit! Families from Whitehead and Flinn Middle School enjoyed food trucks, games, touch a truck experiences, a dunk tank, and more while connecting with local vendors and services.
